Track 2 off of 2021's "Church or a Bar" release is the 90's rock influenced, 'It'll Be Alright'. This has been a song hanging around Ben's notebook for over 10 years. Having written the open guitar line and not having much direction for the song itself, Ben says he put the song away for "quite a long time".
"Almost 10 years ago, I had tried to write it with a couple other songwriters and of the attempts nothing really stuck." Ben goes on to explain, "I wrote the song lyrically from a voyeuristic perspective. It's about this man and woman who live in an area close to one another - probably neighbors, and it's tells the story of a guy who watches this woman deal with her husband sneaking out and running around on her and her can see how she "deals" with it nightly.
"The story progresses into this guy becoming 'the new routine' in her life, with the woman ultimately leaving her husband. Once I got the story figured out, Eran (Ellerbeck) and I spent an evening working the music and chord structure out. This has such a cool feel to it and brings elements of 80s/90s power pop/arena ballads with this big key change in the last chorus. It's just a damn fun song."

It'll Be Alright (B.Grillet/E.Ellerbeck) 5:14
Night after Night, I see you in your bedroom light • Waiting on him to come home and tell another lie • This ain't a new thing it's a routine in your life • But you let him run (away) • And you let him run (to stay) • And you let him run • I keep telling you it'll be alright • Morning, noon and night I'll be by your side • I keep telling you it'll be alright • Night after night, you watch me in that pale moon light • Waiting for me to come in and make it right • It's a new thing, I'm the routine now in your life • When you let him run (away) • And you let him run (to stay) • And you let him run • I keep telling you it'll be alright • Morning, noon and night I'll be by your side • I keep telling you it'll be alright • You keep telling me it it'll be alright • Morning, noon and night forever by your side • You keep telling me it'll be alright • It'll be alright •
